DESCRIPTION:FREE Workshop: Healthy Sleep Habits for Caregivers and Their Loved Ones \nBrought to you by Carroll County Bureau of Aging & Disabilities’ Family Caregiver Support Program\, in partnership with Carroll Community College \n\nWhen: Saturday\, July 22\, 2023 from 9:00 am – 12:15 pm \nWhere: Carroll Community College\, 1601 Washington Rd.\, in Westminster (Room K100). \nCost: FREE\, but registration is required. \nParticipants will learn about stages of sleep\, sleep hygiene\, ways to improve sleep and sleeping disorders. The Family Caregiver Support Program is designed to assist caregivers who are caring for family members over the age of 60 and grandparents raising grandchildren under the age of 18. \nThe class is open to caregivers and others interested in this topic.  There is no cost for the class\, but registration is required.  A light breakfast will be provided.  To register\, please call Carroll Community College at 410-386-8100 or scan the QR code below.  For more information\, please contact Mary Jane Overby\, Program Coordinator\, at 410-386-3833 or moverby@carrollcountymd.gov.

This year’s event will be held on Friday\, September 22\, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Prince George’s County residents who are 60 years and older are encouraged to participate in this event that will feature dancing\, fitness\, food\, and local vendors. \nPlease note that shuttle service to the Pavilion Area at Six Flags begins at 9:00 AM. Registered attendees are encouraged to follow signs to catch the tram shuttles at the entrance gate of the park.
