Living Healthy\, Living Well is a suite of self-management workshop series originally developed at Stanford University for those with Chronic Disease\, Diabetes and Chronic Pain. \nLiving Healthy\, Living Well meets for 2 1/2 hours a week for six weeks. A Virtual CHRONIC CONDITIONS self-management workshop series is currently scheduled for Wednesday evenings 5:30 to 8:00pm beginning September 20\, 2023. \nRegistration is required. DESCRIPTION:Senior Picnic & Fitness Day at Six Flags\nDate: Friday\, September 22 \nTime: 10:00 am – 2:00pm\, shuttle service starting at 9:00am \nWho can participate: Prince George’s County Residents who are 60 years and older. Registration is required to attend. Register here through Friday\, September 8. \nFor the first time ever\, the Department of Family Services (DFS)\, in partnership with the M-NCPPC\, Department of Parks and Recreation\, is hosting the annual Senior Fitness Day and Picnic at Six Flags America in Bowie. This year’s event will be held on Friday\, September 22\, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Prince George’s County residents who are 60 years and older are encouraged to participate in this event that will feature dancing\, fitness\, food\, and local vendors. \nPlease note that shuttle service to the Pavilion Area at Six Flags begins at 9:00 AM. Registered attendees are encouraged to follow signs to catch the tram shuttles at the entrance gate of the park.
