Transitioning Youth (TY)

The goal of Transition Planning is to assist students (ages 14 – 21) with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they progress through school and help prepare them for life after high school.

Options available to youth transitioning into adult services include:

    • Post-Secondary Education Options (DORS)
    • Employment Training (DDA/DORS)
    • Employment (DDA/DORS)
    • Day/Vocational Services (DDA/DORS)
    • Independent Living (DDA)
    • Community Participation (DDA/DORS)
