The Medical Day Care Services Waiver is a Maryland Department of Health Waiver Program under Home and Community Based Services. It helps people receive the care and support they need during the day while continuing to live safely at home and remain connected to the people and community they love.

At Total Care Services, Inc. (TCS), we provide person-centered case management to support people and families statewide in accessing the right services at the right time without the need for nursing home placement. We meet you where you are, whether at your day center or in your home, and work closely with you and your care team to ensure services are coordinated, clear, and centered around your goals.

Who This Program Serves

This program may be a good fit for you or someone you care for if the person:

• Lives in Maryland

• Is age 16 or older

• Is eligible for Medicaid

• Meets nursing facility level of care criteria

• Wants to continue living at home while attending an Adult Medical Day Care center
