Inspiring Connections & Empowering Experiences!

This past Saturday, the World of Possibilities Disabilities Expo in College Park, Maryland welcomed over 1,700 participants of all ages, creating an inclusive and vibrant atmosphere for all attendees. Representing TCS, our dynamic team was fully engaged in sharing information about our Coordination of Community Services, Supports Planning, and DC Programs.

The event presented TCS with an amazing opportunity for engagement, networking, and resource gathering and sharing with the community. With over seventy vendors present, our team had the chance to connect with a diverse range of organizations, fostering collaborations and expanding our pool of valuable resources for the people we serve.

Among the highlights of the day was a captivating breakout session featuring Leah Blackwell and her husband. Leah shared her inspiring journey of finding love and exploring the world as a person with a disability, resonating deeply with the audience through her authenticity and passion.

Overall, the World of Possibilities Disabilities Expo was a resounding success, showcasing the power of inclusivity, collaboration, and empowerment. As we reflect on this enriching experience, we look forward to continuing our efforts to advocate for people with disabilities, ensuring they have access to the opportunities and lifestyle they deserve.
