May is Mental Health Month. You don’t have to fight your battles alone. It’s okay to ask for help and this new database makes finding support easier.

If you are looking for mental health and substance use resources, you can find help & hope with PressOne.211MD.org. This is a new database from the Maryland Department of Health’s (MDH) Behavioral Health Administration and 211Maryland. Dropdown filters allow you to narrow your search by service type, special populations, and more. This makes it easier to identify the specific treatment and recovery options that you are looking to find.

If you need immediate mental health and substance use support, you can also call 211 and press 1. You’ll connect with a trained call specialist, who can help resolve crisis situations and provide resources to manage your health. You can also access support through text (898-211) and chat through the website.

Remember that your mental health is just as important as your physical health. Please seek help when you need it.
